What is Cyber Essentials?
The National Cyber Security Centre, a government organisation, describes Cyber Essentials as "an effective, Government backed scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks."(1)
It is a five-step process that covers asset identification, risk assessment, security policy implementation, security controls, and testing and maintenance.
