Last week we were keeping ourselves busy in and out of the office, from Telford to Amsterdam the Cypher team were on-site getting their hands dirty! This is just the start of all the post-summer action that's yet to come, with jobs in Paris, Madrid and Lisbon, we're excited to talk about that closer to the time...
Jake was in Amsterdam keeping busy filming interviews for a Global Tax Symposium in November. The videos are great for awareness and are used as teasers for upcoming plenary sessions at an event. The interviews give session leaders a chance to introduce themselves and tell the viewers a bit about themselves, including what their session will entail and how it could potentially help you. We spent two days at the Sheraton Hotel collecting footage to be used later on in the year, at the GTS that's being hosted in Paris. Preproduction is more important than you may think when it comes to conferences, events and videos. Collecting the right footage is key to making videos that will help delegates and clients understand the nature of the event.
For this job we needed to fly light, so we packed our extra lightweight interview kit which consists of our small, yet powerful Sony FS7 fit with our 50mm Samyang Prime, perfect for capturing stunning interview shots at close range. Our go-to lights for interviews are now SWIT Flexi panel LED lights, coming in at just 1.7kg each; The 504 powerful LED bulbs are always sure to give us excellent and reliable lighting for our interviews. Fit with a small, compact miller tripod, some power and a few clip-on microphones, we were ready to hit the road!
Stuart was also keeping himself busy last week, he was up bright and early in order to set up for an event in collaboration with TEDx, we're excited to finish editing these videos and get them out, so keep your eyes peeled for when we go into more detail next week.
