The Cypher team were in sunny Paris last month to provide AV assistance at this years Global Financial Services Tax Leaders Meeting. Here's what we got up to...
This annual event was being hosted in the lovely Hotel du Collectionneur located near to the Arc de Triomphe. The Tax Leaders Meeting itself was one of our shorter events lasting only 3 days. One day being for rehearsals, and the following two days for the conference.
The Plenary Room
For the Set & Stage, we included four 16:9 screens for clear visuals, a carpeted 10m x 3m stage with trim and steps, and branded lecterns for presenters. To ensure high-quality sound, we utilized a sound system designed for clear speech and audio. This included four lectern microphones, a twelve-way wireless microphone system with eight headsets and four handheld microphones, and a Voice of God microphone for control. We also had audio playback and recording racks, distribution and monitoring devices. For projection and video, we employed four projectors with backup units to display content on screens. These were controlled by a matrix switcher, allowing for seamless switching between different sources such as presentations, VT playback, cameras, voting, clock and notes.
The Breakout Rooms
Recognising the importance of breakout sessions, we extended our expertise to the six individual rooms. Each room was tailored to meet specific requirements, enabling seamless collaboration and engaging discussions. Each breakout was equipped with a presenters jubilee lectern, 75" plasma screens for presentations, flanking branded banners and a PA system relevant to room size.
