We are off to Barcelona next week for the Global Financial Services Tax Leaders Meeting, run by one of the world's leading Business Services providers, PwC.
Cypher Media are not only providing all Audio Visual equipment and support for this two day conference, but we will also be providing iPads for all 250 delegates! These will be loaded with Cyphorum, our networked, interactive web application, enabling the delegates to access all the information they need throughout the conference. All at the touch of a screen.
Frankfurt was the location for GI Summit2 - Sharing Innovations in Gastroenterology. The meeting was sponsored and organised by Shire Pharmaceuticals. The programme included lectures and panel discussions by renowned specialists in the GI field. Cypher Media provided all audio visual equipment and support, as well as producing video interviews with key opinion leaders in the field. The client was delighted with the event and has had extremely positive feedback from this year's faculty, delegates and colleagues.
Coats are the world's leading Industrial Threads and Consumer Crafts business. They approached Cypher Media to produce and manage their annual management conference. This event brings together 100 senior managers from all over the world. The three day conference culminates in an awards dinner on the final night to celebrate some of the year's achievements.
The venue was the San Clemente Hotel in Venice. Director, Adrian Worrall and his event team designed and built the set including all audio visual requirements for the conference and provided on-site technical support throughout the event.
A conference in Venice brings it's own unique set of challenges, particularly in terms of transporting equipment! A huge lorry, on a barge, making it's way down the Venice Canals is quite a sight! However, despite these challenges, Cypher Media produced a first class event. Coats Chief Executive, Paul Forman, was delighted,
" A fantastic conference! Thanks to Cypher Media who responded with their customary professionalism, energy, flexibility and can-do attitude"
We're looking forward to working with them again on next year's conference at a location which is being kept under wraps!
Hosted by a world leader in business services, this conference brings together HR Leaders from all over the world, representing some of the world's largest organisations. The event focussed on the future of HR with the emphasis on 'talent management', attracting and retaining the right people in order to grow your business. Cypher Media provided the stage sets and all audio visual equipment for the main plenary sessions and the workshop breakout rooms. We also produced banners and pop-up stands for use around the venue. The event was brought to a close with a video, which we shot and edited on-site, including highlights from the three day conference.
April 2011: It was a change to be working in the UK after a run of events in other countries! Working for the world's leading Financial Services firm, we supplied a full AV solution for a Global Indirect Tax Conference at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London. This included creating an attendee regiistration site, editing opening and closing videos and live mixing of cameras.
Crew of 16, Plenary and Workshop sessions (x13), panel discussions and keynote speakers over 4 busy days.
April 2011: We managed the technical delivery of the annual Low & Bonar Management Conference at the Chateau du Lac, near Brussels - set, stage, sound, lighting, PowerPoint, etc.
Low & Bonar is a global business, supplying yarns, fabrics and fibres to a broad range of end markets including civil engineering, building products, transport, sports & leisure, agriculture and other industrial applications.
We also supplied the award trophies for Innovation.
April 2011: We provided a full AV soluton for 'Sharing Experiences in Gastroenterology with a focus on Ulcerative Colitis'. This meeting was sponsored by Shire Pharmaceuticals Development Ltd. and held at the NH Leeuwenhorst Hotel and Conference Centre near Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
We designed the set to fit this unusual venue (an ex Roman Catholic Seminary) and, in addition to the AV equipment, we also ran over 200 voting handsets in the Plenary and Breakout sessions.
We were commissioned by Oxford International Healthcare www.oxfordint-healthcare.co.uk and Lucid www.lucid-group.co.uk
In March 2011, we supplied a lightweight AV kit, backdrop and bespoke banners for a Transfer Pricing event at Glaziers Hall in London.
Brian and Chris attended the Broadcast Video Exhibiton on 17th February - http://www.bvexpo.co.uk.
BVE is the biggest show of its kind in the UK. It attracts thousands of visitors, all keen to see the latest products from over 240 distributors, manufacturers and resellers.
On 20th January 2011 we provided full AV support for Coats plc at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Marlow. The event was a New Year Celebration and Business Update for senior personnel.
We also produced a video review of 2010, compiled the PowerPoint, printed banners and operated audio for the singing waiters. The evening was rounded off with a disco, supplied by ...? You've guessed it - The Cypher Media massiv and their wheels of steel. Stellar awesome dude!
We have upgraded our video field monitor to a JVC DT-V9L1D. This little beauty offers high quality HD and is much loved in the world of broadcasting.
Great news! We have just been confirmed as an approved supplier to iStockvideo (part of iStockphoto). This means we will soon be uploading some of our HD stock footage - for sale online, throughout the world. http://www.istockphoto.com/video.php
We have just completed another audio recording assignment for BSkyB's Talent Development Team. We cast and recorded a female Scottish narrator for a new Health and Safety, self-paced, interactive, computer-based learning programme.
In early November 2010 we worked in Barcelona, so here's a Spanish joke.
Hay tres clases de personas:
There are three kinds of people:
las que saben contar y las que no.
those who know how to count, and those who don't.
But seriously, we were in Catalonia to stage PricewaterhouseCoopers' Global Tax Symposium Europe: 2010 - The Forum for Tax Directors - Tax in a world of change - what's on your agenda?. The venue was the new Hotel W. Attendees had registered in advance using an online registration site - designed and produced by us.
We were keen to reflect the ultra modern design of the building, which uses lighting to create impressive effects. So Brian devised a set that featured internally lit columns with moving head lights and a variety of gobos. This meant we could project animated lighting effects inside the columns. In addition, the lecterns had plasma screens built into the front panel, which could show abstract patterns or text generated out of PowerPoint.
We supplied a full AV solution for Plenary and Workshop sessions - set, stage, lighting, sound, projection, graphics, banners, signage and video - live and recorded. Using our Final Cut Pro portable edit suite onsite, Chris Reddall created opening, incidental and closing videos.
We were delighted to receive the many positive comments about the look and feel of the whole event.
